Materials libraries for designers are like a colour palette for artists. It's a tool that's used to both inspire and make ideas happen.
And with Critical. we want to expand that materials library with new colours, textures and possibilities to ultimately give designers more choice and creativity while make it a little easier for us all to practice kaitiakitanga.
So for the up coming weeks, every weekday I will post a new sample Cleanstone colour mix to show you (and myself!) the endless possibilities of working with recycled plastics. Some will be stunning, others with be less so - it will be a big experiment!
And here's the first set of 3x mixes for Day 001: A blend of soft clear recycled plastics with hard post consumer packaging, at 3x ratios.
