When Alexander from Designwell in collaboration with Chow:Hill Architects approached Critical. to use Cleanstone for Fonterra's Hamilton Office fit out, I had no idea it was this thoughtful, this considered, this demure.
So I invited Alex into the studio today to tell us about the incredible design intent behind this beautiful fit out.
I loved how this fit out brought the best about the #Waikato region into the space through branding, imagery and materials. We made 3 different types of custom Cleanstone panels on each floor - for example, Level 2 had a blue Kererū mix for the countertop to reference the Waitomo Caves.
Beautiful work e te whānau. I love how zero waste, low carbon come together with beauty and function!
