Turns out—you can. You just need the right prep. Watch Videos

We've been working this out both internally and with our joiner mates.

Here's quick tutorial on how to detail and install Cleanstone panels as vertical walls and splashbacks. Whether you're an architect, designer or builder, this is one is worth book marking.

To glue Cleanstone directly to existing gib you'll need acetone, wire brushing, and Bostik H785 Hi-Tac.

If you want to fix Cleanstone mechanically, use Fastmount’s SL-M10 clips and foam tape.

To handle dry-to-wet transitions use negative joints, hardware or sealants and waterproof membrane layers.

If you want to join panels at corners — you can butt join or V-cuts and fold — including which adhesives are compatible with our 100% recycled panels.

You don’t need to compromise on detail just because you’re using circular materials.

And Cleanstone is already used in bathrooms, reception areas, and kitchens an hotels across Aotearoa and Australia.

It’s waterproof, durable, low carbon — and now easier than ever to install.

And yeah, we’ll keep testing. Because part of making new materials mainstream means also sharing the how-to!
