I got over 350 people to mana wave at NZGBC's Green Property Summit on Wednesday and it was ... both moving and hilarious 😂
Not to flex... but we did it over 20 times, across 5 hours.
We collectively mana waved on an incredible lineup of green property developers from Precinct Properties, Saatyesh Bhana, and Mirvac to name a few as they showcased incredible Green Star accredited large commercial projects.
We mana waved on Magali Wardle as she shared NABERS's response to our deteriorating climate and how the rating spread across Australia.
We mana waved Bobby Shen as he lead an incredible panel kōrero with Jade Kake and Tyrone Newson on how Te Tohu Mauri Ora credit will give Green Star the opportunity to consider wide impacts and an opportunity to reimagine itself for Aotearoa.
We mana waved Jorge Chapa who shared how ALL long term risks converge on climate change, biodiversity and wellbeing and how Green Star Buildings proudly stands as the response to mega trends.
We mana waved Miko Brouwer from RDT Pacific who lead us through an epic waiata battle!
And we finally mana waved Andrew Eagles from NZGBC as he inspired us to DOEY not HUI!
And that was only half the day. It's not often I get to be in the room and spend a whole day with my tribe - people who sharpen my stone in our collective kaupapa to care to taiao. I took heaps of notes and I'd love to share them with you in the coming weeks.
At one point, I mana waved so hard that I almost hit Cris Johansen in the face! Sorry Cris! However I'm glad you really enjoyed the day.
