And our mates Anson Kong at Spacebar Design have made it even easier by creating a kit so that anyone including students can do it by themselves. Here's how;

1. You'll need a simple jig, a pre-drilled aluminium L angle brace beam, existing metal frame, wide gauge timber screws and your new Critical. Cleanstone table top - already cut to size.

2. After removing the old desktop, flip the frames to the underside of the table base.

3. Align the frames in the jib and position the brace beam and drill pilot holes in the designated holes.

4. New screw the frames and brace beam in place with a drill.

5. Flip the table over and it's done.
