The future of classroom tables is low carbon and made from plastic waste.
Manurewa High School is continuing the full school rollout of refitting old classroom table frames with beautiful new Cleanstone tops and another 50x is on it's way to fit out the kura's new Science Block. Check out what some of them look like!

I remember growing up feel pretty uninspired by high school classrooms. It sometimes felt cookie cutter and dull. But imagine the curiosity of our rangitahi today when they step into learning spaces that look and feel like this.

Made from a variety of 100% recycled plastics consisting of mixed soft plastics, ocean plastics and post consumer packaging. These 50 table tops diverted over 1,100kgs of hard to recycle plastics from landfill. Ka mau te wehi Manurewa Highschool whānau.

School's no longer need to send their old tables into landfill. Replace old, damaged laminate MDF table tops with Cleanstone to extend the lifecycle of old desk to another generation.

While creating more curious learning spaces for our ākonga where each table top tell a unique story of where the materials come from.
