The Future of Kitchens Is Made From Recycled Plastic — And It Looks This Good

This is the future of kitchens and it is made almost entirely from recycled plastic.

This is what that looks like. Not dull. Not makeshift. Not “eco friendly” in the old sense of the word. Just a beautiful, bold kitchen made from recycled materials.

Massive credit to Evie Kemp! This is her kitchen that she designed and built — her creativity, colour confidence and willingness to push beyond “safe” design is exactly what helps shift the perception of what sustainable materials can be.

And I believe that's the shift I think more people need to see.

Because a lot of people still assume sustainable materials will look rough, limited, or second best.

But if we want better materials to become normal in our homes, they can’t feel like a compromise.

They have to feel desirable. This kitchen proves that recycled plastic can do more than just reduce waste. It can create a space that feels playful, warm, and worth living with every day.

That’s when sustainable design starts to win.

This kitchen used our new 'Chaos' colourway designed by Evie Kemp as the benchtop and side panels while the new drawer fronts are made from an assortment of Earthy Cleanstone colourways.

All made from 100% recycled plastics like milk bottles, packaging and plastic bags.

And it just works right?
