We dropped 3 materials into water to see what happens in a years time. WATCH VIDEO
We’re 3 months in—and already, the results are wild.
Jar 1: Particle board with laminate
Jar 2: Plywood with laminate
Jar 3: Critical Cleanstone — Forest + Marble
Here’s what’s happened so far:
Week 1: Nothing much. All three look fine.
Week 2: The particle board collapses. Cleanstone’s still floating.
Week 3: The water in Jar 1 turns brown. Particle board and plywood start growing mould. Cleanstone? Still spotless.
Month 3: Both timber boards are swollen, stained and soft. The Cleanstone looks exactly like day one. Water’s still crystal clear.
This test isn’t finished.
There are 9 months left.
But Cleanstone’s already shown you why it’s different.
The whakapapa of plastics is that it was never designed to be single us. It was meant to be a miracle material that have enabled a lot of our modern miracles.
Sometime in the mid 1900s, manufacturers discovered that it was more profitable to turn plastics single use.
Critical. just working on turning back the clock but with 100% recycled plastics and made in a way that is almost carbon neutral.
If you're an architect, designer or fit-out specialist, and you're speccing MDF for high-traffic, high-moisture spaces… you might want to rethink it.
Because the materials you use will shape how long it lasts.
And how much waste it creates in 5–7 years when it fails.
Cleanstone is made from 100% recycled plastic.
It lasts over 25+ years.
And look we’ll buy it back when you’re done.
No rot. No delam. No landfill.
