About the Makers
Critical. is a green materials startup based in Tāmaki Makaurau, creating beautiful, durable, low-carbon materials from waste. In Aotearoa, up to 330,000 tonnes of plastics are sent to landfill each year — we’re on a mission to change that.
Te Ara Hihiko (Jacob Scott) is a renowned Māori architect, artist, and carver known for blending whakapapa and form. Each design holds cultural depth, story, and intent.
Jason Kendrick brings a lifetime of experience across marine, architecture, and CNC production. His precision craftsmanship ensures every taonga is finished to the highest standard.
