From Ocean Nets to Bank Fit Outs: Critical.'s Cleanstone Makes Waves for BNZ

From Ocean Nets to Bank Fit Outs: Critical.'s Cleanstone Makes Waves for BNZ
This custom Blue Forest Cleanstone is currently being installed into a couple of BNZ branches and here's how it was made.

We took hard to recycle blue recycled plastic trawling nets that have been repaired multiple times by the good fullas at Motueka Nets Nelson Ltd . After multiple repairs and uses, these blue netting have reached it's end of life and sent to CRITICAL. instead of landfill as our raw material for Cleanstone.

The blue commercial fishing nets were then pre-processed and combined with hard to recycle soft plastics using our unique process and made into Cleanstone, using just electricity. No chemicals, no additives.

Can't wait to see the final result in a BNZ branch store near you.

With the current and next generation of designers continuing to prioritise kaitiakitanga in how they design buildings, materials that are sexy and good for the planet is the new black. And we're thrilled to be part of this Tsumani trending globally!

Here's a sneak peek at how Motueka Nets prepared them for us. Their warehouse is pretty impressive. Ngā mihi nui Michelle Cherrington for referring us to Motueka Nets. Awesome partners.
