Anson Kong from Spacebar Design is giving us a glimpse of this sustainable future happening right now. In their project for Westlake Boys High School, Spacebar fitted the school library with their considered modular furniture system - cleverly designed so that every panel can be upgraded/ replaced and/or disassembled over time ensuring a long life and zero waste.

And they selected a custom 'Pika' Critical. Cleanstone mix to further extend their environmental impact through materiality. Made in Aotearoa from 100% Aotearoa soft plastic packaging destined for landfill. Our bespoke Pika mix is designed to look like a pixelated or pebble finish reminiscent of our riversides. Further more, it's 100% recyclable and low carbon.
