As a former designer I understand that every new project is an opportunity to create that is truly unique.

I remember asking this one architect: 'Can you capture your practice is one sentence?' And she responded with these 3 words that I'll never forget:

DESIGNERS ARE EXPLORERS.

And after speaking to over 300 designers in the last few years, I've come to know designers love to push boundaries in order to create work they are proud of.

Because design as a profession is values and passion driven and every designer put themselves on the line for every project and giving it 120% even though they are no compensated fairly for it all the time.

And so at Critical. we want you to know that we've got your back.

And that materials should at least tautoko/ support your thirst for exploration.

And even if you don't reach the stars in your projects, we'll help you land on the moon.

I run a green materials company called Critical. and we help designers and brands create beautiful spaces that care for te taiao (our natural world) using 100% recycled plastic panels we call Cleanstone. If your working on a project looking for zero waste, low carbon materials to help realise your creative vision, we've got your back cuz!
