If you are a school you need to stop sending your classroom tables to landfill! Here’s one simple hack that I kinda wanted to gatekeep… but screw it, I’m feeling generous.
Around 165,000 classroom tables in Aotearoa end up in landfill every 10 years—simply because the laminate tops break. You know the ones right right?
❌ The veneer chips.
❌ The edges peel off.
❌ Water gets in, and boom—swollen, moldy, and unusable.
But instead of binning the entire table… why not just swap out the tops?
Enter Critical. Cleanstone. Made from 100% recycled plastics, this material is SOLID all the way through. No veneer. No swelling. No peeling. Just pure durability.
✅ Smash it with a hammer? Still good.
✅ Run it over with a truck? Still good.
✅ Leave it outside, drop it in a pool, tag on it? Still. Good.
And our mates at James Cook High School just upgraded 120 desks with Cleanstone made from 100% recycled plastic milk bottles, labels, and lids—giving their old tables a new life while keeping plastic waste out of landfill. And not gonna lie… they look so good that they’ll make you go hoyyyaaahhhhhh 😆🔥
So, schools… let’s rethink classroom furniture. Reduce waste, save money, and create something durable enough to last for years.
