We've partnered with Aspect Furniture!
I am absolutely thrilled to announce that Critical. has partnered with our mates at Aspect Furniture, a premier commercial furniture design and manufacturer founded in Aotearoa over 40 years ago and operating both here at home and across Australia.

This partnership means a lot to me, because it enables Critical. to take a leap forward towards our mission to reduce plastics ending up in landfill and lowering the carbon emissions of the building sector through Aspect's beautifully considered workplace products.

Over the past few months I got to spend some time with Ashley Simmons, getting to know both the whakapapa (history) and moemoeā (aspirations) of Aspect as we took a values based approach to our partnership. I'd love to highlight 2 points that I've noticed and deeply admire about how they run their company:

1. They take an intergenerational view to decision making, starting at an organisational level all the way down to the product level. It's reflected through how they manaaki (care for) their staff and their customers through their products and practices.

2. A focus on uplifting and supporting the commercial furniture industry to move towards quality and longevity so it minimises impact on te taiao (the environment)

Stoked to be in partnership with such great people and I will be taking these lessons as Critical. continues to grow.

Cleanstone, our unique and durable building material made from hard-to-recycle plastics, is now available as an eco-friendly alternative to plywood, MDF boards and stone benchtops in Aspect's product ranges. This partnership will continue to inspire us to strive for a better future as we seek to become good ancestors to our mokopuna.

Watch this space for the amazing products these guys will continue to pump out!
